Granted, I'm not sure if I'm ready for furthering a relationship with him, but he's more of a friend than any I've had. I've been burned by friends in the past and he's been a shoulder to cry on and confide in. Even though I'm really too old to play with Barbies, he's willing to help me rebuild the collection I lost to a former friend's betrayal.
I can't really say we're going steady, but we've got an agreement of sorts between us that means we'll finish college and get the degrees we want before we go any further. This meaning that before we go any further than going out every once in a while (not too common since he lives in Fairfield currently) we're going to finish school and achieve our dreams. Parents on all sides seem satisfied with this idea and continue to encourage us to do our best.
I'm also tutoring him in building a web site in DreamWeaver, so he can have a live site showing what he's like and maybe having to do with his desire to have a degree in Computer Forensics.
