Past updates
This is all the news of 2008. A minor note: The only links on this page that don't work and won't work are those of the old updates. I've decided to leave these updates as they were when I wrote them. The links below (January, etc.) work and will take you to the corresponding month's updates.

I finally finished updating the pages to matching layouts for the navigation. I'll be starting my second term of classes at Westwood online January 9, 2009. Look forward to some of the results! While I'm still on break, I might add a few more outfits to the paper doll collection.
My first term at Westwood Online has gone well. The toads are happy ...although the sad news is that some time ago George got away and is now dead. Fred, on the other hand, has taken after Ryo of the Wildfire belly and Cye of the Filter Torrent and has earned himself the name Kento of Frog Rock. Artemis seems to like Rowan and Slippy likes Sage, but Slippy's name isn't changing. Perhaps someday, I'll replace poor George and call him Sage and if that happens, Artemis might earn the name Rowan. I'll have a collection of Ronin Frogs instead of Ronin Warriors!
Anyway, I've been quite busy with my Dream Angel paper dolls and the results are quite lovely so far. Presently, I have Arora, Ellie and Katrilina done with one outfit each. I'm very proud of how these three dolls look and their outfits are impressive. Purely created in the computer and very carefully rendered.
I've also added a few outfits here and there for the Sailor Moon paper dolls.

I updated the kids' pages shortly after Ashley's birthday party, but have yet to upload the videos related. I also added a page for all my work in my Introduction to Graphic Design work due to the files not always wanting to upload. I found it easier to post a link to the discussions than to fight uploading big beautiful files! So, as I've had requests to put those pieces of artwork online, I finally have!
As a reminder to those who may or may not know: The family pages, music videos, character pages, animation, and digital imaging pages have all moved. The character pages are now listed on the characters page. Family pages are on the About page. Animation, music videos, and digital imaging are all on the portfolio page. This was done in an effort to make this web site seem a little more professional as I advance further into college.

Having completed three of my Dream Angel Paper Doll bases, I will now be offering them for sale. Like anyone else who has copyrighted material, please don't purchase my dolls only to scan and post them somewhere else. I am just getting started with my doll collection, and only have three girls and one outfit right now, but I am very excited about expanding that collection. People who have seen this site in the past, note that the navigation has changed, but my Sailor Moon Paper Doll collection is still just as big. Both sets of dolls will now be part of my portfolio.
Feel free to leave me a site related message. Spam will not be tolerated. I welcome fan art and will happily post it. Suggestions for character designs are welcome, too. Story ideas... I think you get the idea. I'll even accept ideas for new music videos. Requests depend on whether or not I can get the music. Any sort of ideas are welcomed. Either email me using the contact page, or leave me a message on the blog. The email is the best way to send me images. Yoroshiku onegaishimasu! I leave it all to you!
I will leave this note regarding my comic book's recent republishing: the print quality is beautiful. I tell everyone that not even my original drawings look as good. Comixpress.com has wonderful quality and helpful people. For those who don't know: it was $18 and some odd cents to publish my 26 page zine comic. I set the price to $3.87, so I get $1 for every book sold. Please, please, please!!! Buy my book!!!! I want to earn back what I spent on that beautiful print quality so I can publish the next volume!!!
October 29, 2008
I discovered that my videos have been linked to other sites without my permission, so I am only going to have links to them on the video pages until youtube wizens up and makes it so someone has to ask permission to embed the video on another site.
Opinion time: I am making my Dream Angel paper dolls, and have already completed Arora, Ellie and Katrilina's doll bases, but I am uncertain as to whether or not I should make other girls such as Larissa Arum, the Keres, and Nyxus. Another little note: these dolls will be for sale, not free like the Sailor Moon dolls. The Sailor Moon dolls are free because I cannot claim any copyright to them. Dream Angel dolls' prices will depend on how I decide to set them up. Most likely, they will not be for download, so there will be materials costs involved for the pricing. Paper, printer ink, method of putting the clothes on, "shipping" (which is really just a matter of putting them in an envelope and sending them), time to make them in the first place and of course, a slight profit to help with school. I hope they don't seem too expensive!
Having started classes at Westwood Online, (I strongly recommend John Funk for your admissions representative!!! He's soooooooooo good about helping with everything!!!!!! He's a really great guy that's easy to talk to!) I've been busy. I'm already in my third week of classes and thoroughly enjoying them. I am more than happy to promote Westwood in any way I can, but in the meantime, I am working on making this site easier to navigate. Pages will be inconsistent for a little while, while I fix things.
The first thing a return visitor will now notice is the fact that my navigation is now on the left of the screen, not the bottom of the page, and considerably shorter. For example, the Senshi, Teki and other assorted character pages are now listed under one link: Characters. My Sailor Moon Paper Dolls have moved, too. They are now listed under my Portfolio. The link to my Blog is now on my Contact page. Music Videos are now part of my Portfolio along with Sailor Moon Super StarS and my Drawing Lessons. My Animation and Digital Imaging work are on the Portfolio page. I'm going to try and improve all navigation to make this site much easier for viewing. All this in an effort to make viewing this web site easier.
Also, I am going to start selling Dream Angel Paper Dolls soon. I have to finalize the designs and work out little problems, but I am hopeful that these dolls will be online and for sale soon. Sorry to those who use anything besides PayPal, but that is all I am going to be able to accept when all's said and done.

I LOVE WESTWOOD ONLINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
September 20, 2008
The rooster has been given safely to a new home.
In light of being super busy with school preparations, I have set up links on all pages to the blog I set up in July.
September 8, 2008
Is anyone in the Jacks Valley Nevada area missing a Rhode Island Red Rooster??? He's been crowing in the back yard all morning since I caught him! Poor Cookie... She loves chasing things so much and longs to chase this crazy chicken!
The found Rooster.
Given that I don't have school for a while, and I just got a table set up in my room for the laptop and toads, I decided to have some fun making casual clothes for some of the paper dolls. This being the result of watching people walk past my bedroom window. Most are in jeans and a t-shirt or shorts and a t-shirt, so I decided to have fun with that idea in Photoshop. The results are.... well... interestingly bizarre!
I'm threatening to make some paper dolls of my Dream Angel characters, as well... keep an eye out for those.
The toads are very happy. They have an excellent view of the TV now and can watch Ronin Warriors... yes, they actually watch the series and make noises when they're worried about the boys! It's the funniest thing to see, but they do that. Ryo of the Wildfire belly and Cye of the Filter Torrent, especially watch the series... this is how they got their names. They also have their colored rocks back, so they're VERY happy with me. Slippy seems to like Rowan, too. He squeaks when Rowan's in trouble. Fred and George seem to favor Sage and Kento, too. Funny little froggies....
August 27, 2008
With the toads settled in a semi-permanent place, I gave them their toys...er plants without the rocks. For all those who have already enjoyed my videos on youtube, keep in mind that music requests for videos will be toad approved before I work with them. Here's a funny one for everyone: I was working on settling my room when the radio played "It's five o'clock somewhere" and all six toads chimed in chirping merrily! What do they put in those freeze-dried crickets, anyway? These seem to be very musical little rascals.
Here's another one: I went out biking today to explore the area and pick up job applications. I came out of Staples and found a praying mantis sitting on the seat of my bike looking at the lock I'd put on the back tire. I suppose it was pissed and thinking: #*$(, I can't ride this thing! Since the washer's in need of fixing, we haven't been able to bug bomb the house so there's little beetles everywhere that keep annoying me. Normally, bugs don't bother me, but when they crawl on me at 2 A.M., I get a little upset. So, I picked up my six legged hitch hiker and put him in one of the toad's spare little tanks. Now, every time I spot one of those #*%& little bugs, I give it to the mantis. I haven't found a mantis since we lived in Fairfield! I'm happy they like this area! I find the praying mantis fascinating to watch. I know it's gross, but I enjoy watching them eat flies. I used to be able to dissect a fly as it was being eaten. I'm a little rusty on my bug body parts, but they really are fun to watch - just don't hit a wrong note on a piccolo around them... funny thing there. It reminds me of my bronze-medal winning science fair project in junior high. I think I proved that insects are smarter than some people think. It was a simple rat-in-a-maze type project. I wanted to test the intelligence of a praying mantis, but the egg sacs didn't hatch in time. I had to improvise with ladybugs. I proved that ladybugs are sensitive enough to navigate a fairly complicated maze from start to finish and eat the aphids at the other end. I believe it's how they find their food in the first place. If they're flying around, they can't really see the aphids, so they have to "smell" them out with their antennae.

Anyway's, keep enjoying this site, my videos, and please buy my book!!!
I've been terribly busy with our move. Not this site moving, but change of address type of moving. Happily enough, I'm now located in Carson City instead of boring South Lake Tahoe. I'm hoping to complete the transfer to Westwood Online soon, too. With that happening, I'm going to have to go out and get a job. That means less time to work on this site... ;_; *sniff* Still, I'll do my best to keep up with everything!
I'm also proud to announce that I'm hosting www.danadc.com for a friend who's a very good chiropractor. Trust me, she's worth it!!! It's hard to find a good computer chair that doesn't put a person's back out of whack that's cheap. Yes, even my computer chair sucks.
My six "children" are still singing merrily in their tank to all the various songs I play on the computers. Rapunzel's had a name change to Cye of the Filter Torrent. He looooooooves hanging out either on the filter or floating around in the little whirlpool it creates in the tank. Since my room's still upset and things aren't where they're supposed to be, the toads don't yet have their plants and stuff back in their tank. ^_^;; Poor babies.... They don't seem to mind much, though.
All my MV's are uploaded to the most current ones and I'll keep embedding them as I make them. I'm happy that my videos have been getting such good responses. It seems that my "Talpa's Face" video is a hit! Several of my others are hits, too. http://www.youtube.com/user/oceangoddess1313 Here's the exact link to my channel. Check out my hits and all the others, too!!!

I'm happy to announce that the link for my book has come in!!!!!! It will be at the bottom of every page!!!!!!!!! I've tried to set my price as low as I can while still making a little money to help pay for the preprinting process. If Volume 1 gets a good enough response, I'll have this company do Volume 2!!!!! I must say, I was very impressed when I got my proof copy of this book. The print quality is far better than I've ever seen. Not even my original drawings look that good!
Please don't hesitate to send me fan art, either. I'll be more than happy to build a special page just for that!!!!!
Also, I'm in the process of uploading a mess of videos and embedding them in this site. If you don't wish to wait for me to embed them, my youtube.com channel is oceangoddess1313. Please be patient with my embedding videos otherwise! I've got a lot going on and not a lot of time to dedicate to this site currently.
No matter what, PLEASE ENJOY MY BOOK AND WEBSITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A lot has been going on but the most important is HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!!! I've uploaded a mess of videos to youtube.com and the easiest way for someone with dial up to see them is there. My "channel" is oceangoddess1313. I'm working on finally uploading the Father's Day videos. My newest music video Ronin Warriors meet Inuyasha is getting plenty of attention. I've been busy cleaning my room again, which is why there haven't been any updates for a while. I know, I know, "WOW! What a messy room!!!" I'm used to the mess and have been steadily working on fixing it. As it turns out with the toads, I have (I believe for now) six boys. I won't know for sure probably until next year since that is when they'll hit maturity. Right now they're just my little babies. Babies, who are supposed to have a 15-20 year life span. How's that for cool? I've also found out that I don't have to keep getting them crickets once a week. I can just feed them non-live food from a dish (sounds like a dog, huh?) and they'll learn to eat it. I've been playing Lego Star Wars II off and on lately and there's a point in the game that's Episode VI in Jabba's palace where you have to build a juke box. This is for his palace guards to dance to. That's not the funny part, though. The toads will "sing" along to the jazzed up Imperial March almost exactly!!! I love having musical pets!!! That's it for now! I'll try to keep things updated in spite of the chaos.
June 13, 2008
This is the best wake-up call I've ever had: Mom burst in and said Dad is approved for the loan to get a house/lot in Carson! I got my proof copy of Dream Angel Volume 1, and it's due to be online soon!!!!! Who says Friday the 13th is unlucky?! I'll call them a liar!!!!! I hope things continue to go right!!!!!!!!!!!!
June 11, 2008
Dream Angel has been republished for a lower price. I don't think It's online yet, but I'm expecting the proof copy any day now.
I'm still not sure if I have two girls in the toad tank, but the third new greenie has been singing as merrily as the other three boys. I just finished a full destructive restore on my laptop because it didn't want to recognize the DVD drive at all. That's why there's a good amount of time between these June updates. I usually try to update at least once a week.
Per a friend's request, I will be adding direct links to all my videos to their youtube sources. Sorry to those who have dial-up; I've forgotten how annoying it can be for download speeds. I've had DSL for quite a while now, but I've had dial-up in the past.
School now only has two weeks left and we're hoping within that time, we get the go-ahead to start packing to move. We're waiting on a number of things and if they're okayed, we get to move. If not, it's another summer of misery in Tahoe - trapped in an art storeless world.
I am now offering my service as a web developer. I have very little experience as yet, but my price reflects that. Presently, my family's looking at moving to Carson City, where at the local college, I would be trying to get my degrees in computer animation and web development. Fortunately, for those looking for a nicely made cheap web site, it will be a while before I get those degrees. In the meantime, I have set my prices waaaaaaaaaaaaay low to reflect my lack of experience and lack of degrees.
The toads are quite happy in their habitat singing merrily. I confirmed it when I thought one of the girls was sick: Rapunzel's a boy! I don't think he cares that he has a girly name, he loves the castle still!
I'm actually (for once) happy with school. It seems my GPA's on the rise and I'm finally starting to enjoy the classes. Dream Angel's coming along nicely and soon to be republished cheaper. I'm hoping that my parents can finalize a move soon and we get a bigger place. For, in a bigger place, I'd have the ability to set up a drawing room with the nice old drawing tables that we have in storage! Oh, how I long to get the stuff we have in storage out. There's soooooooooo much that we could use and soooooooooo much we could get rid of if only we could. I don't care much for being stuck in South Lake Tahoe, as there is nothing for an artist to do! All the art supply stores and book stores are gone. There's nothing to do up here and it does get quite boring. I don't ski, snow board or swim, so there's really nothing to do. I'd love so much to move down to Carson where the town's growing at a rapid rate. I'm releasing my feelings of being trapped and hoping that this little prayer gets us somewhere! Even if I'm told that we can start packing during finals, I'll still be happy. Especially since I only have two finals this time and I can do them both the same day! Okay, okay, I know: I should still study for finals but I'd be packing to take a break from studying. I know English 102 and Psychology 102 are harder classes, and I should study, but there has to be a point when I take a break anyway. I hope we move!
I am also adding another page with my various music videos I've created over the years. If I can find the files, I will also include my Senior Project and my miniature dolls' fashion show. Both of these I made my senior year of high school.
May 27, 2008
Just because I could, I bought three more toads and four more fish to add to my toad tank. I haven't named the three new greenies yet, but I believe that two out of three are girls. This would probably put the ratio of male to female toads at 4:2. I'm only guessing, but since only one out of three newbies has started squeaking, I'm thinking the other two are girls. I'll post pics and vids as soon as I have them!
May 22, 2008
I believe I finished fixing this site finally. I've uploaded some new videos for the toads and uploaded Sailor Moon Super Stars to page 220. The paper dolls are all online and I might be creating more outfits soon. If there are any problems with this site, including typos, please use the contact page to let me know!!
May 13, 2008
I had a little fun this weekend and made an interesting music video. Ryo loves it and happily clambers onto the castle in the front of the tank to see the computer screen when I play it. I call it Leader of the Ronin Pack. Today hasn't been too exciting but the toads have happily enjoyed the video and eaten their crickets for the day. Of course, I claim no copyright whatsoever for the video I made (and the music involved), it's simply a fan created video dedicated to my toad.
May 12, 2008
I am in the process of fixing the paper dolls pages. If the jump menus don't work, the text links should. Also, I have more up-to-date pictures to add to the family pages. Since yesterday was mother's day and Dad's birthday was also over the weekend, I have pictures of the double celebration including Cookie's "birthday." Granted, we don't know exactly when Cookie was born, but since we adopted her shortly after she was taken to the shelter and they said she was roughly a year old when we got her, we just decided she'd share Dad's birthday. Happily enough, there may be a chance of moving to Carson, IF our offer on the house we're looking at is accepted. Good luck, Phil!!!! Also, my utmost thanks and appreciation to an old friend of my brother's, Kurt. I'm still not sure if I should allow the boyfriend/girlfriend relationship you're shooting at, but all the help you've given is an incredible help!
May 3-4, 2008
This is going to sound incredible, but it's a story worth telling!!! Earlier in the week, I got an email telling me about Free Comic Book Day at Hero's Alley in Rancho Cordova, California. At the time I got the message, I knew I wouldn't make it down there since I'm in South Lake Tahoe and Rancho Cordova is close to Sacramento. Still, in hope that I might have someone willing to go and show off the first printing of my first book, I emailed a family friend by the name of Kurt. He called back saying that there might be a chance that he could come all the way up from Fairfield California to get me and take me down to Rancho Cordova. Communications and school continued as usual for the week. It wasn't until Friday that he called again saying he was on his way up. He was able to take me down to Rancho Cordova. In the meantime, Mom and Dad have been in the process of getting a home loan to enable us to move down to Carson city, where there are supply stores for the various home-based businesses of the household and the opportunity for me to get my degrees in Animation and Web Development. Kurt slept downstairs on the couch Friday night, and early Saturday morning we got up, showered and left for Rancho Cordova. We arrived a half an hour early for the event, so we wandered around outside and enjoyed the warm sunshine. When it started, we wandered around the room and talked to the various artists. As I was talking to the artists, Kurt discovered someone whose name I didn't see (or didn't recognize ) when I looked around the site that was included in the email I had gotten a few days before: C. Andrew Nelson. For those who don't know, he played Darth Vader in the Star Wars series. To my delight and surprise, he's not just Darth Vader, he's an animator, too!! In the course of conversation, Dream Angel was mentioned. The book was shown and this site was mentioned. Also, an autographed picture was made. A picture of him holding the autographed picture was also taken. I shouldn't go into too much detail without his permission, but I will say this: he's got a great sense of humor! From there, the day only got better and more interesting. Kurt and I "goofed around" in Sacramento, ending up at the Arden Fair Mall. We got to see a very pretty sunset and enjoy being "mall rats." When we arrived home, Mom, whom unfortunately, has been sick lately, showed me something that really helped make the whole day seem like the best ever: Dad is approved for the home loan! Even at midnight, I was on top of the world and could hardly get to sleep. I don't know how I fell asleep, but I finally did. I just kept thinking: I've finally gotten even with my brother for that picture he got with William Shatner and we may be moving to where I can get my degrees!! Maybe I am more evil than Darth Vader himself, but I wanted revenge on my brother. He got a picture with one of my earliest childhood heroes, so I got an autograph from one of his favorite villains!! Kageki WINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
April 30,2008
Rapunzel's counterpart who started with the name "Brownie" has earned the official name "Ryo of the Wildfire belly" after Ronin Warrior's Ryo of Wildfire. Although I believe Ryo's a girl, she loves watching Ronin Warriors, Ryo loves singing to Ryo when he's on the computer screen. Rapunzel, Ryo and Slippy have also been joined by a few goldfish, which seem to have a bad habit of dying on me. I think there's only two or three left now. Also, with the new uploading of this site, Sailor Moon Super StarS is online pages 1-203. If you try to go further than that, there's nothing there. Ashley has acquired an active interest in science. This being that she has fallen in love with the old computer microscope I have. The thing is simply a toy, but she loves looking at bugs (namely the crickets) under it. Also, the paper dolls are completely online. Let me know if navigation is hard or doesn't work. I'm still trying to fix it but I need to know where things don't work.
April 15, 2008
This site has officially moved from www.arorasparadise.com to www.dreamangelsparadise.com due to my former web host being stupid again and canceling my domain name. Anyway, I've decided to republish Dream Angel Volume 1 in black and white with 150 pages for the same price as the 26-page full color edition. I passed my winter quarter classes with 2 B's and an A in English 101. I was surprised by my English grade, since I've never been that good at writing essays! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU Stacie Barnes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm recommending you to everyone I know who's local!!!!! The sad news is that Bunny escaped and died, so shortly after due to Slippy seeming depressed, I bought a new pair. One's brown and the other, who's green, has earned the name "Rapunzel" for liking the ceramic castle from dad's old fish tank that I put in the toad tank. Slippy now enjoys a hamster igloo to hang out on and a plastic plant to hide in to stalk the crickets. The toads are all funny when hunting the crickets. Sometimes they'll leap at a cricket and get a rock in their mouths instead! I'm proud to say that I've bought myself a laptop and just today, I bought more ram for it. I have also added a 500 gig external hard drive to my arsenal of computer stuff. Look forward to LOTS of great stuff from now on!!!!
March 25, 2008
I will be reconstructing this site starting tonight. The only pages that will be online until I get everything working will be this page and my home page. I have a week and a half spring break to make sure of this. I recently bought more big crickets and they've been chirping non-stop since. The toads now enjoy a plastic plant and a hamster igloo thing to hide in. I completed my winter quarter finals today. That's it until I get things working. Keep an eye on things as they come back online!!
March 2, 7, 13, 2008
Happy Birthday Mom, Luke, Happy 1 year anniversary Dream Angel Volume 1, and Happy 21st birthday to the web mistress!!! Slippy's roommate has earned herself the name Bunny despite hunting like a crocodile. Both toads are happy, healthy and enjoying brand-new neon red substrate. The only downer for me (the web mistress) is that my birthday is a day when I have classes all day and I don't get out until late. Oh well, I don't mind when I celebrate, as long as I get to have fun!!! Mom's been on a frog and toad everything kick since we bought Bunny. I'm just glad the two toads are getting along so well. The crickets even got new food dishes. Still no hatchling crickets, but I don't mind. I probably should get more big girls to lay eggs since I keep changing things in their little habitat.
March 1, 2008
Freshly confirmed: Slippy is DEFINITELY a male and his new roommate, female. As I type this the pair is playing frog pile, but I'm pretty sure that they'll mate one of these days should I put in some kind of underwater cave for his new girlfriend to lay eggs in. The problem then, would be figuring out what to do with the parents for a few weeks until the tadpoles are big enough for their parents to not want to eat. http://www.anapsid.org/bombina.html
This is the site that confirmed Slippy is male. The description states that males have rougher backs and thicker forearms, which is exactly the way he is.
February 29, 2008
Slippy has a new roommate!!! It's fortunate I have a web cam now, I'm more than able to catch them both dancing to music that we all enjoy. They both seem to love Seramyu music, particularly Private Mystery Circle and Koi no Senshi ja Irarenai. Since Slippy has a new roommate, s/he needed a new habitat to match since the other one was intended for only one fire belly toad. The new habitat allows for more and deeper water for both toads to enjoy. These two love to PARTY!!!!!!!!!!!! Lucky for me, since I turn 21 in just 12 days!!!!!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can finally enjoy the sake set I got for Christmas!!!! In 6 days is both my nephew Luke's first birthday and the first anniversary of Dream Angel Volume 1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! March is SOOOOOOOOOO exciting this year!!! Tomorrow is Mom's birthday, too!! Valentines day was the 1 month anniversary for Slippy being my roommate!! Look forward to a month of fun and excitement!!!
February 19, 2008
Especially for my classes given that I'm sick today and because I was going to make this section anyway sooner or later, I'm building a special section for my animation and digital imaging work.
February 2008
After a good amount of fussing I got "Stop Motion Animator" and a web cam called "Web cam for dummies" to cooperate. The quality of the animation is really nice for a cheap web cam. http://education.wichita.edu/claymation/resources.html This is the site that has Stop Motion animator, as well. I'm still getting used to the program but between the pair, I'm quite happy. Given that one was about $20 and the other a free download, I'm getting very nice quality for the animation. Animation doesn't have to be expensive, just fun. Cheap non-drying modeling clay works just as well as the professional quality stuff, too. Also, sometimes with the buckets of cheap stuff come things like eyes and tools. Now that I have got the hang of this animation, I'm going to have fun with it. Slippy was "laughing" while I did a simple camera test animation of Nyxus walking up to the camera and appearing to punch it out. I'll have the 2 second clip on her page when I get it uploaded.
I think it's true what they say about the pets taking on their owner's personalities. Slippy's definitely a comedian. I now have many female crickets that have been chirping up a storm lately and when I have music going, they chirp, Slippy sings and I have a squeak toy frog that I squeak with them. It's a regular concert and none of the live animals seem to mind having me join them in time to the music. As a matter of fact, it makes them sing and chirp more! Luckily, I've found out that when a cricket chirps she's ready to lay eggs. I've had about 2-3 chirping a day for a few days now which means that I'll have lots of baby crickets to join the fun since crickets can lay up to 500 eggs in their lifetime.
Slippy's and Luke's pages now have home videos embedded in them that are free and easy to watch.
End of January - February 2008
Happy Valentine's day all! I'm still working on uploading certain parts of this site and others I have yet to finish building. I have to rebuild the pages for Sailor Moon Super StarS since the old template's no good anymore. I'm still putting together pages for the paper dolls and I have yet to redo the villains (teki) pages. I ended up dropping video editing, but that doesn't mean I won't be putting up some videos anyway. My roommate's page has a very special feature to it and Cookie's page also has the same sort of feature. I found that I can use Flash to put videos and even music on my pages, so expect videos as soon as I find time. Since I got rid of video editing, I now have a little more time to work on this site as well as do my homework and everything else. Luckily, Slippy's food and Slippy are easy to take care of. If you look at Slippy's page, you'll notice that s/he's a very musical critter. I've had many such critters in my time. I had a praying mantis in junior high that would cringe or cry if I hit a wrong note on my flute. I know this since I would play the music right once and then play it wrong the second time and the silly insect would either dive for cover under a rock, cringe or cry. Slippy, on the other hand will use the side of the habitat to dance to music. S/he will also try to sing along to the music, depending on the song. Upbeat oldies seem to be the music of choice for this critter. Also new, I'm putting up clips of Cookie chasing snow, Luke climbing the stairs in our apartment for the first time and Slippy dancing.
January 2008
Since my former web host treated me poorly and tried to charge me for space without warning, I've changed web hosts. I'm now with bluehost.com. This site is back up and running and soon with even more great stuff. I'm presently building the pages for my paper dolls when I find the time among classes at the local college. A lot has actually happened lately, too. I'm officially razzing my video editing teacher: I went out after the external hard drive for class and came back with a special roommate!! To Jeremy and Chelsea: I am going to create a secure place for you to get what you need to help with Dream Angel! I am putting a note on the site so I don't forget!!!!! Also, I'm hopeful I'll be able to upload the videos I make in video editing and animation as soon as I figure out how to do it!!
Sorry about December 2007, I'll upload the family pics of Christmas as soon as I have them.
