Akasha herself is small but mighty. She and her counterpart, Nevyn WinterBane both lost family at a very young age, but rather than simply allowing themselves to be victimized, since Nyxus is responsible for the deaths, they decided to do what they could to sabotage Nyxus’s plans.
Faster than a peregrine falcon in a dive, Akasha’s species of bird is nicknamed very appropriately: the rainbow blur. She’s also based on the most diverse legend I could find: the rainbow bird. I found this one in Native American, Mayan and Japanese mythology. The basic moral of the legend is that helping others brings great rewards. Akasha herself knows vengeance isn’t the solution, but also knows Nyxus has to be chased off the planet. So, she tries to balance a natural desire for revenge with the desire to help others.
